Aaron is the greatest guy with a amazing work ethic. He goes above and beyond and catches problems with other items at the house and has the knowledge to fix them. Couldn’t be happier and I am super picky. Our pool area was so moldy looks so good.
Paver Sealing in Marco Island, FL
On Marco Island, a lot of the paving sits right on the water: pool decks that run to the seawall, driveways a few steps from a canal, condo walkways that face the Gulf breeze. That constant salt and moisture is why pavers here fade, grow mildew and lose joint sand sooner than you'd expect. I'm Aaron Kochheiser, and Paver Savers & Concrete, LLC has been cleaning and sealing pavers across Southwest Florida since 2010.

What we see on Marco Island pavers
- Salt on waterfront pool decks. Spray and salt air leave a film that dulls color and works into the joints, especially on decks along a seawall.
- Joint sand washing out. Rain, pool splash-out and hosing down the deck pull sand from the joints. Loose joints let pavers shift and give weeds and ants a way in.
- Mildew in shade. Covered lanais, north-facing entries and landscaped edges stay damp and turn dark.
- Association rules. Many Marco Island condos and communities have rules on finishes, colors, work hours and vendor access. We work within them.
- Owners who aren't here year-round. Many homes sit empty for part of the year, and buildup happens fast in summer.
How we seal on Marco Island
Every job starts with a proper clean. We remove salt film, mildew and staining, then refill the joints with polymeric sand so the surface locks together and holds up better against washout.
We only use the highest quality two-part water-based urethane sealers. You can walk on the pavers after one hour, and vehicles can go back on the driveway the next day.
If there's already an old sealer on the pavers, we visually inspect it before anything new goes down. A coating that's cloudy, white or peeling needs paver stripping first, or the new sealer will sit on a failing layer. If the pool deck has a dip near the seawall, we'll tell you whether it looks like normal settling we can repair or a seawall problem that needs a marine contractor first.
Travertine is common on Marco pool decks. We handle it separately through our travertine and stone maintenance service.
Staying ahead of the salt
We recommend resealing every 2 to 3 years. If you join our annual maintenance plan, we come back each year to clean and seal, so the surface stays fresh whether or not you're in town.

What sealer do you use?
We only use the highest quality two-part water-based urethane sealers.

You can walk on freshly sealed pavers after one hour, and vehicles can go back on the driveway the next day.
How much does paver sealing cost on Marco Island?

Our condo association has rules about finishes. Can you follow them?
Yes. Send us the association's guidelines and any vendor requirements, and we'll plan the finish and the schedule around them.
